			Jill Johnson, managing director of strategic relationships for The Resource Network, 
			brings ten years of experience in forging relationships between national nonprofit organizations, 
			corporations, educational institutions, and governments as sponsors and investors in innovative alliances. 
			
 Jill has proven abilities in identifying, cultivating, and solidifying partnerships between sectors. 
			As a skilled listener and interpreter of client's goals, objectives, and needs, Jill initiates and 
			cultivates strategic alliances to bring value and realize new opportunities. Jill is uniquely skilled 
			at quickly bringing focus while targeting potential alliances, and broadening the impact of existing 
			alliances. She is skilled in the conception and refinement of potential solutions, tools, and appropriate 
			mechanisms to deliver high impact. Jill brings a passion and expertise in nurturing solutions that achieve 
			long-term sustainability.
 
 In her career Jill has been instrumental in identifying and overcoming barriers in ways that lead to 
			widely beneficial results. As Vice President for America's Promise- The Alliance for Youth, she served 
			as internal team leader for the successful reorganization of America's Promise with McKinsey & Co while 
			simultaneously leading an evaluation of affiliates with Brandeis University. After careful survey, Jill 
			developed and implemented the use of assessment tools, best practice publications, and trainings.
 
 Jill brings a unique understanding of national and local nonprofit and service organizations. Through 
			her assignments at America's Promise-The Alliance for Youth, The National Mentoring Partnership, and 
			The Points of Light Foundation she forged relationships with Visa, The Michael and Susan Dell Foundation, 
			Disney, Sears, Verizon, and the U.S. Department of Justice. Jill assisted in the development of award 
			winning employee volunteer programs including, The Home Depot, Samsung Group, The Timberland Company 
			and Time Warner Inc. Through her extensive experience in the expansion and development of Corporate 
			Volunteer Councils, Jill has demonstrated ability to unify the leadership and knowledge of corporations 
			within communities to leverage their collective power in assisting communities to solve social challenges 
			too complex to solve alone.
 
 Jill is an active volunteer and trained mediator. She is a member of the D.C. Association for Conflict 
			Resolution and a certified trainer for The National Coalition Building Institute.
